Arturo Mariotti

Nato a Torino nel 1994, inizia a suonare la chitarra classica all’età di sette anni e, quattro anni dopo, entra nella scuola media musicale C.Nigra con il maestro Giorgio Tonin.

A quattordici anni viene ammesso al Conservatorio "Giuseppe Verdi" di Torino dove si diploma con 10 e lode sotto la guida dei maestri Frederic Zigante e Dora Filippone.

A 15 anni vince il concorso "Giovani interpreti" di Torino.

Ha partecipato a corsi e masterclass con maestri di livello internazionale tra i quali Eduardo Eguez, Peter Croton, duo Maccari/Pugliese, Luk Vaes, Francisco Rocca, Vincenzo Caporaletti e, nel 2020, si perfeziona presso l'Accademia Chigiana di Siena con i maestri Oscar Ghiglia ed Eliot Fisk.

Nel 2019 si laurea presso la "Hochschule der Künste" di Berna a pieni voti sotto la guida di Elena Càsoli nel corso di "Master Performance" e, nel 2021, consegue il Master in didattica musicale.

Dal 2017 è uno dei borsisti della prestigiosa associazione "De Sono” e, nello e stesso anno e in quello successivo, vince le due borse di studio: "Rita Zimmerman Stiftung "e "Geert un Lore Blanken-Schlemper-Stiftung”.

Vincitore e finalista di concorsi internazionali tra i quali: "Città di Favria”, "Lions Club”, "Sommariva Bosco”, nel 2019 vince il primo premio al concorso "Diapason d’oro".

Nel 2016 e 2018 ha vinto per due volte consecutive la borsa di studio per partecipare al workshop   “Research-Led Performance” organizzato dalla fondazione "Giorgio Cini" di Venezia.

Tra il 2016 e il 2022 è stato invitato a suonare per varie associazioni e festival in Italia e all'estero tra i quali De Sono, Festa della Musica, MiTo, Flashback, Torino città delle mille corde, I Risveglianti e Nendaz International Guitar Festival.

Nel 2018 ha suonato (insieme al suo quartetto composto da archi e flauto) per l'apertura di due concerti dell'orchestra sinfonica di Berna.

Ha insegnato dal 2013 al 2017 presso la scuola di Musica Guitare Actuelle e dal 2019 al 2023 presso la "Amo Musikschule".

Nel 2022 vince il posto come insegnante di chitarra classica al Conservatorio di Zurigo (MKZ).

Arturo Mariotti was born in Turin on 16 January 1994.

He started playing classical guitar at 7 years old

 At the age of 11 he entered the secondary school "C.Nigra" with Giorgio Tonin and three years later the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Turin with Frederic Zigante and than with Dora Filippone

He graduated with full honours

At the age of 15 yeras  he won the "Young Interpreters" competition in Turin
He participated to a number of masterclass courses with Oscar Ghiglia, Eliot Fisk (at the "Accademia Chigiana in Siena), Eduardo Eguez, Peter Croton, Luk Vaes, Francisco Rocca and Vincenzo Caporaletti

In 2019  and 2021 he graduated with "full marks"  in his Master Performance and Master Pedagogy at the "Hochschule der Künste Bern"  (Switzerland) with Elena Càsoli

He is the winner and finalist of international competitions including "Favria City", "Lions Club", "Sommariva Bosco" ,in 2019 he win the 1st prize to the "Diapason Doro" Competition. In 2016  and 2018 he won (2 times) a scholarship to participate in the workshop organized by the “Giorgio Cini” Foundation in Venice

Since 2017 he is one of the scholarship holders "De Sono"

In the same year and in the 2018 he won two other scolarships :  "Rita Zimmerman Stiftung " and  "Geert un Lore Blanken-Schlemper-Stiftung"

Between 2016 and 2021 he was invited to play for various associations and festivals including De Sono, Music Festival, MiTo, Flashback, Turin city of the thousand strings and "I Risveglianti" where he performed as soloist and with the ensemble "FFFortissimo Guitar Quartet"

In 2018 he played two times (with his quartet of strings and flute) for the  opening concert of the "Berner Symphonie Orchestra"

He was the guitar teacher of the "Guitare Actuelle" school of music in Torino from the 2013  to 2017 and since September 2019 he is the new guitar teacher of the "Amo Musikschule" school of music in Switzerland

From the 2022 is the new guitar teacher at the "Zürich Conservatorz of Music"


He performed in Italy, Austria, France, Spain and Switzerland
